BRV-4: Collaboration Tools

Course Overview

Pre-requisites: Successful completion of the Autodesk Revit Architecture – “Fundamentals” course described above. Prior completion of the Autodesk Revit Architecture – “Conceptual Design and Visualization” course and the “Site and Structural Design” course is desirable. General familiarity with Autodesk Revit Structure – “Fundamentals” and Autodesk Revit MEP – “Fundamentals” would be helpful, but is not required.

Learn to use collaboration tools in Revit Architecture to facilitate:

  • Setting up project phasing
  • Creating and displaying a variety of design options
  • Using groups
  • Linking Autodesk Revit files
  • Using multi-discipline coordination including Copy/Monitor and Coordination Review
  • Importing and exporting vector and raster files including exporting Autodesk Revit models for energy analysis
  • Understanding, using, and setting up work sets and work sharing
