About Us

Blueist is an Autodesk® Authorized Training Center, whose curriculum includes advanced modules that go beyond simple shapes into complex, innovative and themed designs through software that empowers Building Information Modeling (BIM).

At Blueist, architects learn Revit’s single application that includes features for architectural design, MEP, and structural engineering and construction. Working with knowledgeable instructors in quiet classroom settings, Blueist’s students develop architectural skills with sample projects. Classrooms in the Blueist facility in Glendale, California accommodate up to 50 people. Architects enhance their competitive edge through this coursework, and validate their product knowledge by getting Autodesk Certified when they take a certification exam.

Our Team

Brad McDonald, Past President of the San Fernando Chapter of the AIA, is the founder of Blueist.  He sets a high standard of instruction with an emphasis on real-world practical applications. As an owner of Reveal Studios, he led the design of many award-winning projects, including single and multi-family residences, churches, restaurants, and international projects for Disney Imagineering.

Jackie David, Cofounder and CFO of Blueist, is an intrinsic member of the team, bringing a business focus to this new training paradigm for architects.

Al Dinoble rounds out the Blueist executive team.  He is a seasoned entertainment veteran, with management and marketing skills that the organization will draw from.

 Our System

Blueist’s system network is Advance2000, providing an efficient way to work with high performance graphics applications, large storage demands, faster project delivery, and more effective collaboration. Advance2000 features include Building Information Model (BIM), the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) Collaboration Hub, and Virtual Design & Construction (VDC), all in the cloud. Many Advance2000 features are available on mobile devices, allowing students to work on projects anywhere.
